In this Athenian apartment in the upcoming area of Kypseli, we have been asked to make a proposal for the kitchen, the bathrooms and the closets of the two bedrooms. In the kitchen we preserved the old Dionysou marble sink and complement it with a piece of the same marble for the counter top. The color of the cabinets has been informed by the color of the terrazzo of the floor. A pastel palette has been used in the bathrooms, offering a distinctive identity to each one by a complementary tile color. For the closets we introduced simple forms and relaxing colors. The budget of the project informed the chosen materials, as we aimed to a proposal being affordable yet preserving its quality.
